英語S（1単位）とは
法政大学通信教育部の外国語科目の一つである。構成単位は1である。スクーリングによる授業を終え、試験に合格すれば、1単位得られる。学生は、メディアスクーリングかスクーリングから選択可能である。
2019年度、大阪市スクーリング（英語S）の内容
場所：大阪本町カンファレンスセンター
時間：9時から17時まで、合計3日間
担当教員：マークフィールド先生
使用教材：Carmell Lieske. Globe Trotters - Practical English with Video. 2015, センゲージラーニング社

教材内容：世界各地の映像と写真使った、実用的な場面で使われる日常会話の演習も収めている。初級者から中級者まで、世界の文化に触れてリスニング・スピーキング力の向上を図ることが出来るテキストである。本書を通じて擬似海外旅行ができる。（本書より引用）
内容：ネイティブの先生と英語でコミュニケーションをとることから始まり、ペアワーク、グループワークを行った。その後、教材をベースに、世界に関する教養を深めながら、リスニング・スピーキングの演習を行った。宿題は、各国に旅行に行ったと想定して、友人に手紙を書くというものであった。授業後の試験は、リスニング、ライティングがメインで、授業で学んだことが出題された。
